Mrs. Savita Chhabra along with her sons; Mr. Manish Chhabra and Mr. Ashish Chhabra started this Hygienic Research Institute; MIDC unit in 1993, and now they are definitely one of the biggest names in the Indian hair colour segment.
Their factories are ISO 9001:2008 certified and the products are approved by Food and Drugs Administration of India and comply with all the specifications led down by Bureau of Indian Standards. They are also approved by various other regulatory agencies from Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka, Thailand as well as Middle East countries which are regulated by stringent norms laid down by SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization).

HRI has its flagship salons Streax Head Turner all across the nation. It also lends franchisee options for the budding stylists across the country. HRI recently opened Streax Head Turner salon and academy in the prestigious Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
