HRI has been associated with supporting children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through the platform of ‘Cascade’ which is an annual cultural event organized by The Jamnabai Narsee School Alumni Association. The program “Aashayein” is a performance-based talent hunt under the Cascade umbrella organized specifically for students in need from such backgrounds across schools. Our partnership aims to provide them with not just a platform to showcase their skills and talent, but to further offer them the means and opportunity for an equal holistic honing of their craft.

The support provided by HRI is used to organize the competition for them to showcase their skills in the fields of performing arts post which talented children are given further opportunities to pursue their goals and build on their skills. All funds are kept in the Aashayein Welfare Fund, which would enable them to further help underprivileged children, orphanages, old-age homes and NGO’s that JNAA associates with throughout the year.
